GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) -- A Grayson County boy reported missing in May of 2018 has been found safe, along with his mother, in south Texas.

The Grayson County DA's officer says they got word Thursday Cynthia Seevers was arrested by US Marshals in south Texas on a warrant for custodial interference issued by Grayson County in May.

They say her son, 5-year-old Shaw Seevers, was found safe and is now in the custody of law enforcement, pending release to his father Gregory Seevers.

He reported Shaw missing on May 21, saying he had dropped him off for a court-ordered weekend with his mother earlier in the month and never heard from Cynthia or Shaw again.
