Mother arrested after 5-year-old tests positive for meth

COLLINSVILLE, Tex. (KXII) - A Collinsville woman was arrested Sunday for child endangerment after her child tested positive for meth.

Collinsville police say Dusty Jackson was on probation for driving while intoxicated when she began failing her drug tests, testing positive for meth.

Her probation was revoked and Child Protective Services took her 5-year-old child after she posted bond.

CPS tested the child's hair, and the sample came back positive for meth.

Jackson was arrested again Sunday for child endangerment. She bonded out Monday.

The child remains in CPS custody.
