DENISON, Tex. (KXII) -- A Denison road shut down Thursday night after a dirt bike crashed into a car.
It was the end of a short chase with police.
The biker was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center where police said he may be flown to another hospital.
They said he has serious injuries after hitting a car at West Morton and Brown Street.
Just before 9 p.m., police tell us officers tried to pull over the dirt bike rider for driving erratically.
But when he saw the patrol cars, he sped off. He only got about two blocks before crashing into a silver car.
Witnesses who live across the street said the biker flew from the middle of the intersection about 100 feet, and landed close to a white car parked at a nearby gas station.
No one in the car was hurt. The biker was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries.
Police were investigating and said to avoid the area of Brown and Morton.
