A Muenster High school teacher was arrested Thursday accused of having sex with two students.

According to arrest warrants obtained by News 12, Muenster High School teacher Lynn Burge, 32, started by sending nude pictures of herself on Snapchat to a 16-year-old male student last fall.

Burge and the student went “backroading” and drank alcohol together before Burge took the student to her house, performed oral sex on and had sexual intercourse with the boy.

In March, Burge then allegedly pulled same routine with an 18-year-old adult student.

The Department of Family and Protective services received an anonymous tip about Burge in September. After a month-long investigation, a Texas Ranger held an informal interview with Burge last week at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas, where she was a chaperone on a school field trip.

Burge admitted to the Ranger she had sex with the 18-year-old, and to swapping nudes with the 16-year-old. She also confessed to drinking and “backroading” with - then waking up next to - the 16 year old, but told the Ranger she couldn't remember if they'd had sex.

A Muenster ISD representative says Burge resigned last week. She was arrested Thursday and posted $125,000 bond on Friday.

It’s shocking news for this normally quiet Cooke County town.

"They are adults and they need to act like it," a mom with kids who attend Muenster ISD who wished to remain anonymous told us. "You send your kids to school every day hoping they are being taken care of, and not being taken advantage of."

"What's going on after school? They should not be giving out phone numbers, and email addresses are fine. But there should not be an exchange on a personal level. There's a professional border that you have to keep there between your students and yourself," the mom told us.

Burge is married and has two children.

She faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
