The National Weather Service confirmed at least three tornadoes touched down in Fannin and Lamar counties Friday night.

The NWS Storm Report said the survey team found evidence of an EF-2 tornado with wind speeds of 115 miles per hour that started near the Powderly/Camp Maxey area.

A second tornado, an EF-1 with wind speeds of 110 miles per hour, was reported near the Community of Direct.

Lamar County Emergency Management said there are no reported injuries or major damage from the tornadoes.

In Fannin County, an EF-2 with wind speeds of 120 miles per hour damaged homes, structures and trees.

The NWS report states the tornado began west of Ivanhoe and intensified as it came close to FM 273, where a brick home lost its roof and a mobile home was destroyed.

Fannin county officials are still assessing the damage.

The NWS said it will be looking into reports of a fourth tornado in the eastern part of Fannin County and west Lamar County.
