Mural painted in honor of fallen Grayson County law enforcement

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - Art is being used at the Grayson County Sheriff's Office to honor fallen officers.

The sheriff's office had the idea for over a year, and it took about three weeks for artist Sydney Sbarbaro paint the mural.

It was paid for by Grayson County Law Enforcement Association, the Sherman Police Association, and the Denison Police Association.

A list of 25 fallen officers can been seen on the wall.

"The mural represents parts of law enforcement and things we do across the country," said Capt. Sarah Bigham. "We're proud to have it and encourage people to come see it."

The mural is open for everyone in the sheriff's office hallway.
