Murray County grass fire burns nearly 200 acres

MURRAY COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- Nearly 200 acres burned in a Murray County grass fire Tuesday afternoon.

Video shows a helicopter dropping water, joined by two spotter planes and eight different fire departments.

The Davis Fire Department said it started south of Davis off Primrose Road around 3 p.m. and burned through Knapp Road.

Nobody was hurt and nearby homes were saved, but a barn and cabin were lost.

The fire was under control by around 7 p.m.

The cause is still under investigation.
