MARIETTA, Okla. (KXII) - Marietta Public School's new football bleachers are ready for use.
The school says the fire marshall gave the okay for the new bleachers yesterday.
The stands were paid by a $1.2 million school bond passed last year.
Students and school faculty say they're excited about the new addition.
"They took a chance and passed the bond that made this stadium possible. Not just the stadium, but other things," said Marietta Principal Adam Sherfield. "I'd like to thank them for their support and their belief in our schools."
