KINGSTON, Okla. (KXII) - Federal aviation officials are responding to a scene in Marshall County where a small plane crashed just before noon Monday.
We're told the fixed wing single-engine Cessna was taking off from a runway south of U.S. Highway 70 when it lost power, hit a road sign, and one of its tires grazed an eastbound truck on the highway before coming to stop near the entrance to the Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course.
None of the three people on board were injured. Neither was anyone in the truck.
We're told FAA officials will be investigating the scene Monday afternoon.
