The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has finalized the designs for US Highway 69/75 in Calera.
These plans are the same from October 2017, after getting public opinion.
The design includes a Main Street Calera exit located one mile from Main Street so that drivers will still have highway access to the Calera business district.
Based on the most recent plans, the highway will be elevated over Main Street.
An ODOT spokesperson says US 69/75 is a major highway for freight in Oklahoma.
The Fast Lane project is one of 18 grants that were selected from more than 200 applications.
The purpose of the project is to increase traffic flow and reduce traffic collisions on US 69/75.
