OHP troopers allege alcohol involved in Pontotoc County wreck

ADA, Okla. (KXII) -- An alleged drunk driving crash Sunday night in Pontotoc County left one man in critical condition.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said the incident happened just after 9:30 p.m.

A pickup driven by Adam Vanlandingham, 27, was headed eastbound on SH 59-A, and was turning northbound on CR 3425 when a motorcycle driven by Jerome Carter, 20, hit the pickup as it turned.

Carter was airlifted to OU Medical Center with multiple injuries and was last listed in critical condition.

Troopers said Adam Vanlandingham was under the influence of alcohol, He and his passenger, Alix Vanlandingham, were not hurt.
