ADA, Okla. (KXII) - Investigators say a man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Saturday morning in Ada.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Ada Police Department got a call around 9:45 a.m. about an ongoing domestic dispute between a man and woman on East Arlington Avenue near Evans Avenue.

OSBI says a few minutes later, four officers arrived on scene and tried to speak with the 29-year-old man who lived in the apartment.

That's when investigators say an argument broke out between him and police.

OSBI says at 10 a.m., officers radioed in that shots were fired and called for EMS.

Officials say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to OSBI, the man and the woman were not in a relationship.

Investigators say one officer was injured, and was treated and released.

OSBI says they'll continue investigating.

Once their investigation is complete, they'll send a report to the District Attorney's Office, where prosecutors will decide whether or not the shooting was justified.
