OSBI investigating possible use of force death in Carter Co.

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a possible use of force death involving Wilson Police and Carter Co. deputies.

The Carter County Sheriff's Office says OSBI is looking into a death where a man was tased and died at the hospital a day later.

The Carter Co. Sheriff says one of his deputies was called to assist Wilson police early Friday morning.

According to the sheriff, officers received call about a naked man running down a street and shouting.

They say Jared Wayne Lake was taken into custody with the help of Healdton and Lone Grove police, then taken to Mercy Healdton and flown to Oklahoma City.

OSBI officials says the 28-year-old died Saturday.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

OSBI says this is an ongoing investigation.
