Oklahoma school district allowing medical marijuana on campus

MCALESTER, Okla. (KXII) - A Pittsburg County school district will now allow medical marijuana on campus.

McAlester Public Schools approved new rules regarding medical marijuana use by students in schools.

The district says students will now be able to use medical marijuana on campus with a license.

Faculty and staff will still be prohibited from marijuana use on campus.

In 2018, voters in Oklahoma legalized medical marijuana.
