Joseph Maldonado-Passage, better known as Joe Exotic, was sentenced to 22 in federal prison Wednesday after he was convicted in a murder-for-hire plot and found guilty of more than a dozen wildlife charges last year.

Maldonado-Passage was the owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Garvin County, Oklahoma.
