ACHILLE, Okla. (KXII) -- Troopers say it happened around 6:30 Monday night on state highway 78, a mile north of Achille.

They tell us 62- year old Mike Craven of Achille was headed south on his Harley when he tried to pass someone going the same way in a no passing zone.

Reports say Craven hit a car driven by a 17-year old girl from Hendrix head on.

He was thrown from his bike and hit by the truck he tried to pass.

Craven was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say the teen was pinned inside her car for 30 minutes and had to be extricated before being flown to a Plano hospital.

She was admitted in stable condition with injuries to her legs, arm, trunk and head.

A passenger in the car, 32-year-old Haston Sutherd, was taken to TMC.
