One man hospitalized after Marshall County wreck

OAKLAND, Okla. (KXII) -- An Ardmore man suffered internal injuries Monday morning after the vehicle he was driving rear ended a large truck.

Tinker Blansett, 41, of Ardmore, was driving a van east on U.S. Highway 70 in Oakland when, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, he did not see a Peterbilt being driven by Allen Vidal, 62, of Kingston, and the van struck the Peterbilt from behind.

Blansett was transported to an Oklahoma City hospital with internal injuries. Troopers said Vidal was not injured in the collision.
