GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - There's a new program in Grayson County to help people connect with mental health professionals.

The "Here for Texas" program was developed by the Grant Halliburton Foundation.

It's an online database of mental health providers in Texas, and the website now features Grayson County resources.

People can type whatever mental health issue they are dealing with and they will be connected with professionals close to them.

Grayson County commissioners read a proclamation Tuesday morning honoring the importance of mental health awareness in the county.

"It's wonderful to see the proclamation read," said Grant Halliburton Foundation co-founder and executive chairman Vanita Halliburton. "It signifies Grayson County is really behind and on board with improving access to mental healthcare in this community. It makes us all proud."

You can search for mental health help on HereForTexas.Com.

The program is in partnership with the Texoma Behavioral Health Leadership Team (
