Overnight shooting in Murray County sends one to hospital

SULPHUR, Okla. -- The Murray County Sheriff's Office confirms there was a shooting around 11 p.m. Sunday.
After a fight between two men, one of them tried to enter a home near the 2100 block Highway 77 just south of Davis, a woman in the home shot with a small caliber weapon, hitting the man.
Deputies said in their initial investigation, they believe that the woman fired in self defense. Deputies added they believe the two men were friends, and one of the men was married to the woman who fired the shots.
Deputies arrested one person for public intoxication.
The shooting victim was flown to OU Medical Center.
