SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - Police say no one was injured after a pickup drove through the side of a Sherman church.
Officers say the pickup was headed north on U.S. Highway 75 when the driver veered off the road before going through the side of Calvary Baptist Church.
The pickup went inside the church and had to be towed out, but police say there was minimal damage to the church.
There was no one inside the church at the time, and the driver did not have any injuries.
Pastor Charlie Ellison says he thanks God no one was hurt.
Police say the incident will be handled as a civil issue.
