Paris, Tex. (KXII) -- Paris police say there are no signs of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found in a ditch near an elementary school Wednesday.
They say 64-year-old Wendell Willis Hamil was found in an overgrown drainage ditch.
Someone reported the door to his home on Plum Street had been left open Wednesday morning.
That's less than a block from Justiss Elementary School.
Officers say his body was sent to Dallas for autopsy and while it doesn't appear suspicious, they are still investigating.
