Police investigating LSD-laced lollipops traded at Denison High School
Denison Police are investigating after receiving a report of a student at Denison High School giving away lollipops he said he laced with LSD, sending one student to the hospital.
"A student brought six lollipops to school and had given those lollipops out to individual students saying they were laced with LSD," said Denison Police Lt. Mike Eppler.
Police said five of the pops looked like they were in original packaging, but one looked different.
"Now the five of them appeared to be still in the original package, but the one the student ate was in a separate package," Eppler said.
He said the parents of the female student took her to the hospital after eating some of the lollipop and complaining she felt sick.
It's still unclear if the lollipops were laced with LSD, but Eppler said they have been taken to a lab and tested.
The student who allegedly gave away the lollipops has not been arrested.
