Man arrested after stolen truck chase in Davis

DAVIS, Okla. (KXII) - Davis police arrested a man they say led them on a chase in a stolen vehicle Thursday morning.

Police arrested Trace Prosise, 20, of Purcell, Okla. for leading officers on a chase in a stolen truck, crashing and taking off on foot.

Officers say it started around 7:30 a.m. when a Pauls Valley firefighter recognized the truck, which had been reported stolen Tuesday.

Police say when they arrived, Prosise got in the truck and drove off, eventually crashing in a field north of Treasure Valley Casino and then took off on foot.

Law enforcement located Prosise around 11 a.m. after a search of the area.

Officers say they also found a backpack on him with several more sets of car keys inside.

Prosise was booked into the Murray County Jail.
