ARDMORE, Okla. (KXII) - The Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band spent their morning rehearsing at Noble Stadium in Ardmore before heading down to Texas for the Red River Showdown.
Several fans got a firsthand look at the band's routine.
Director Brian Britt says every year the marching band picks a different location to rehearse before the big game against Texas.
He says it's been almost 8 years since they've stopped in Ardmore.
"The chance to play for so many great alums in the Dallas area and to be apart of the game day spectacle - it's just a great experience," Britt said. "Obviously we hope our team comes out on top - we'll do everything we can to help bring that about."
The open rehearsal was free to the public.
