ANTLERS, Okla. (KXII) -- The trusty that escaped from the Pushmataha County Jail earlier Wednesday, has now been found.

Earl Barton

Sheriff B.J. Hedgecock said Earl Barton was in the jail for bogus checks and was supposed to head to rehab later in the day Wednesday, but he escaped right before that.

Hedgecock said they found Barton walking down Highway 3, just east of Antlers.

He was in jail for a misdemeanor, but now faces a felony charge for escaping.
