DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - Officials are investigating the cause of a fire at a Durant waste handling equipment company Saturday afternoon.

Firemen say it happened just before 4 p.m. at Wastequip on Waldron Road near Industrial Road.

Steve Kelso with Durant Fire said they were able to get the fire out in about 20 minutes, but stayed throughout the evening to make sure there were no hot spots.

He says a paint booth was destroyed in the flames.

Firemen say no one was inside the building and there were no injuries.
