Remains of woman found in Ellis County wearing Pilot Point shirt

WAXAHACHIE, Texas (KXII) -- The Ellis County Criminal Investigations Division is requests help from the public to identify the human remains found on July 15.

Investigators posted a photo on their Facebook Page of a Pilot Point High School Bearcat Pride T-shirt like the one found with the remains. The photo is not evidentiary in nature.

Anthropologists from the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification has determined the remains are of female gender, and of African-American decent.

The female is described as approximately 16 -22 years of age. She is medium muscular build and medium framed. She is 5 feet, 6 inches to 6 feet tall.
