A major highway in Coal County will be down to one lane starting Monday.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says U.S. Highway 75 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane daily between Coalgate and the State Highway 3 junction northwest of town.

The lane closure comes as part of a resurfacing project expected to last through July.

Flaggers will be directing traffic.

Drivers are asked to avoid distractions and pay attention to workers.
