GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - Ruiz Foods donated toys to Texoma children in foster care on Thursday.
Ruiz Foods partnered with the Child Welfare Board of Grayson County for the Angel Tree project.
Employees picked from the names of 35 children and purchased gifts on those kids' wish lists.
The Child Welfare Board says this will give the foster children something to open Christmas morning.
"They're in places they don't know, they're with unfamiliar people and it gives them some normalcy for at least a short period of time," said Grayson County Child Welfare Board Member Keith Muldrew.
Ruiz Foods has helped with the Angel Tree program since 2005.
