SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - Workers from a Texoma food production company lent a hand to a community shelter over the weekend.

Workers from a Texoma food production company lent a hand to a community shelter over the weekend.

Saturday morning members of the Ruiz Foods team renovated the men's and women's dorms at the Sherman Salvation Army Shelter.

Over the weekend 20 team members laid flooring, painted the cafeteria and repaired walls and ceilings.

In August, volunteers painted walls for the first phase of the project.

Ruiz Foods is also donating TVs, nightstands and pillowcases.
