SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- The Sherman Economic Development Corporation closed on the purchase of the 63.6 acres located west of Panda Sherman Power.
The purchase price was around $450,000.
As the acreage in Progress Park is quickly being earmarked for incoming projects, this new purchase is part of an effort to acquire more land to market to those companies looking to relocate or expand in Sherman.
The purchase agreement made between SEDCO and Monarch Dev. Corp. was approved by the SEDCO Board of Directors on September 12, 2017.
“We are excited that SEDCO has closed on an additional 63 acres attached to Progress Park,” said SEDCO President, John Plotnik. “The land will be added to our overall marketing strategy to bring in
manufacturing investments and primary jobs.”
