SOSU canceling spring commencement, honoring graduates online

Southeastern Oklahoma State University announced Thursday it will not be holding its spring commencement ceremony due to restrictions to limit the spread of COVID-19.

All spring graduates are invited to participate in the December 12 ceremony where all 2020 graduates will be recognized.

Spring graduates will also get the opportunity to be recognized in a unique way online.

"SOSU 2020 Commencement Reimagined" gives each graduate a webpage where family, friends and the university community can leave written and video messages and photos.
