A man has been hospitalized following a crash in Atoka County Friday morning.
Troopers say 66-year-old Phil Hale of Oklahoma City was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 69 north of Stringtown around 8 a.m. when his semi departed the roadway and hit the guardrail.
They say the semi continued to move north until it reached the end of the bridge, rolling into a ditch.
Hale was pinned for over an hour until he was freed by the Stringtown Fire Department.
He was transported by Air Evac to Medical City Plano in stable condition for head, leg, arm and trunk injuries.
Troopers list the cause of the crash as improper lane use.
