WHITESBORO, Tex. (KXII) - A scam warning if you live in Grayson County, the sheriff's office says someone is posing as a local non-profit asking for money.

Grayson County Sheriff Tom Watt said on social media that a person is knocking on doors in Whitesboro saying they are with Women Rock, a Sherman organization raising awareness for breast cancer.

Women Rock says they don't solicit funds door to door.

The sheriff says if this happens to you, get a good description and call law enforcement.
