Police investigate Sherman barbecue joint burglary
SHERMAN, Texas – An area eatery was burglarized early Monday morning, and now police are investigating.
Cackle and Oink BBQ on Texoma Parkway was victimized around 1 a.m. Monday when the restaurant was broken into, and two cash register drawers were taken. According to store owner Aaron Vogel, they did about $5,000 worth of damage to the restaurant.
Vogel says three people, two white males and one white female, are seen on surveillance video. One of the males is wearing a white hat, and the other has short hair and is wearing a dark shirt. The woman has shoulder length black hair and is shown wearing sunglasses. Police have not confirmed them as suspects in the case.
