SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - Sherman's Target just opened up two full lanes for shoppers to pick up any items they order on their app in hours.
“It's just like driving up to a fast food restaurant but doing it with your Target supplies," said shopper Mike Gardner.
Gardner noticed the new Drive Up in front of Sherman’s Target: lanes designated to making shopping a little easier.
"I think it’s a great idea," Gardner said. "I come from Cincinnati and Kroger does it with groceries. My parents use it a lot.”
Drive Up is Target’s way of keeping up with features like Amazon Fresh and Walmart’s similar services.
The pickup lanes just opened on Monday.
The manager at the Sherman Target said people are already catching on to it.
It's a system Gardner is curious about.
“I gotta find a 10-year-old to teach me how to do this app stuff,” he said.
The manager said they strive to load up your car in under 5 minutes.
Locals think it says a lot about Sherman’s development.
“This kinda growth, the convenience factor, I think it’s a great idea," Gardner said. "I appreciate Target doing it.”
To utilize the feature.
1. Open the Target App
2. Pick your supplies
