SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - A Sherman gas station temporarily closed down Saturday after one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19.

The Lone Star Gas Station at North Travis and West Taylor Street in Sherman says the employee has not been in the store since Tuesday.

The location temporarily closed for deep cleaning and sanitization. Employees say the store should be back open by Sunday night.

The store says while no other employees have shown symptoms, they are requiring all of them to be tested.

"The health and wellness of our team as well as to customers is first and foremost our top priority," a sign posted on the door said. "We are taking every precaution to keep all safe."
