Sherman man to serve decade in prison

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- Harvey Hill was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and illegal prescription pills, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Police were called to Hill's home off Montgomery Street by his girlfriend during an argument.

When police arrived, Hill ran away, but was arrested a few minutes later.

Police said Hill had a pipe, pills and 5 grams of methamphetamine when he was booked into Grayson County Jail.
