SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - Two people were taken to the hospital after two semi trucks crashed on U.S. Highway 82 in Sherman.
Sherman police say a dump truck collided with a paint truck in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 82, just east of S.H. 289, spilling paint on the roadway.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes were closed shortly after the accident. Only one westbound lane is open due to construction. Drivers are asked to use U.S. 56 as a detour.
Hazmat was on scene for a diesel spill.
