Sherman youth coach arrested for child sexual assault

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - A Sherman youth track coach has been arrested for sexually assaulting a child in Brazos County.

According to online court records, 31-year-old Keith Craddock was transferred from Sherman to Bryan, Texas Friday morning.

Parents told News 12 Craddock was a volunteer coach for the Sherman Elite Track Club.

The alleged incident happened last summer.

Court documents detailing the charge were not available because of Good Friday.

Five years ago Craddock was one of the five Southeastern students charged for staging robberies they claimed were April Fools pranks. He got three years probation.

Craddock remains in the Brazos County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
