Silver Alert issued out of Pottawatomie Co. canceled

SHAWNEE, Okla. (KXII) - The Silver Alert has been canceled. A Silver Alert was issued Friday afternoon for a missing elderly Oklahoma man in danger of serious injury or death.

The Potawatomi Nation Police Department says 72-year-old Kenneth Dawson was last seen around 4 a.m. at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee.

Dawson is described as a white man, wearing a red and brown checkered shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. They say he has Brown and gray hair, blue eyes and has difficulty speaking.

He may have been driving a gray 2020 Chevrolet Malibu with Oklahoma license plate BIR280.

Officers say Dawson has a medical or physical disability and may be in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Potawatomi Nation Police Department.
