A silver alert has been canceled for a missing 79-year-old man with Alzheimer's.

Police say Eugene Pearl Lothes was last seen in Bethany, Oklahoma around 11:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Lothes was wearing a stocking cap, blue fleece jacket, grey sweats and no shoes.

Police say he may be driving a silver 2001 Saturn Ion with Oklahoma plate BXZ-560. The car has a blue plate frame reading "Alumni Colorado" on the top and "School of Mines" on the bottom.

Officials say Lothes is supposed to be on medication for Alzheimer's. The silver alert says he is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.
