DENISON, Tex. (KXII) - The City of Denison installed three new severe weather sirens around town, with two more on the way.
The city installed sirens in Waterloo, Munson and Forest parks. Two more will be installed Friday at Texoma Health Foundation Park and Denison High school.
The sirens will be used for severe weather warnings.
A Denison EMS representative says the sirens should be operational in the coming weeks.
The project cost $220,000 and was paid for by the city.
