Student arrested for threatening to blow up Denison High School

A 17-year-old Denison High School student was arrested Monday after he told classmates he was going to blow up the school.

Braxton Mykal Melton was arrested for making a terroristic threat after students reported the incident to school officials, who called the Denison Police Department.

Police said no actual device or weapon was found, and no one was injured.

Melton will be charged as an adult, according to police.

He remains in the Grayson County Jail on $2,500 bond as of Wednesday afternoon.
