Sulphur apartment fire causes oxygen bottle explosion

SULPHUR, Okla. (KXII) - A fire at a housing complex in Sulphur caused an explosion early Tuesday morning.

The Sulphur Fire Department responded to the Sulphur Apartments at Broadway and West 13th Street around 1 a.m.

Firefighters say the fire caused an oxygen bottle in the apartments to explode.

They extinguished the fire after about three hours.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
