Summit Truck Group, a semi-truck dealership, handed out meals to drivers at a weigh station in Love County.

The business said it was the first time they had ever done something like this.

Summit said truck drivers are a vital part of battling COVID-19 since they deliver food to stores and medical supplies to hospitals.

"We appreciate our drivers on a daily bases. But with the pandemic going on, we want to make sure that they know everyone is appreciating all the hours that they are putting in," said Terri George with Summit Truck Group.

The group said it fed more than 200 drivers.
