MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A call of a man shooting and screaming at his neighbors led Marshall County sheriff's deputies to a large marijuana grow bust Thursday morning.

Sheriff Danny Cryer said when deputies arrived at the home of Gary Jackson east of Woodville armed with a pistol and over 150 marijuana plants growing on his property.

The plants ranged in size from seedlings to over six feet tall.

Deputies found that Jackson did not have a medical marijuana card or a license to grow marijuana.

Cryer said Jackson was arrested on complaints of illegal cultivation of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a police radio during the commission of a felony.

Jackson is scheduled to appear in court Friday for a bond hearing.
