Suspect in Sherman burglary accused in several Gainesville burglaries

Timothy High Jr. and Katherine Jaquess

GAINESVILLE, Tex. (KXII) - A man arrested for a Sherman burglary has been charged for another burglary in Gainesville.

Gainesville police say they were reviewing surveillance video Feb. 3 from burglaries at Rent 1st and Russell Cellular-Verizon and suspected the burglaries were committed by the same person.

They say the investigator was watching News 12 that evening and saw video of a burglary at Buddy’s Home Furnishings and believed it to be the same suspect.

Timothy High Jr, 32, was arrested in Gainesville Feb. 4 for one of three burglaries at Buddy’s Home Furnishings in Sherman. His girlfriend, Katherine Jaquess, 31, was arrested for pawning the stolen items.

On Feb. 6, Gainesville police obtained a warrant for High in connection with the Feb. 2 burglary at Rent 1st. They say additional charges are pending.

Police say High admitted to multiple burglaries in Gainesville at Russell Cellular-Verizon, Cricket Wireless and Rent 1st. Officers say High also admitted to burglaries in Sherman and Denison.
