DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - One of the men involved in a fatal shooting in Bryan County has been convicted.

A jury found Daniel Dailey, 28, guilty of first-degree manslaughter in the death of Zachary McCullar.

Last March, police say Dailey and Jacqorion Ellison, 18, admitted they conspired to rob McCullar of his marijuana they agreed to sell him.

The three met around midnight March 11, 2019, at the Econolodge at West Main and US-69/75, but when the two tried to rob McCullar he fought back and they shot him once in the head.

Dailey's sentencing is set for March. Ellison's' trial is set to begin in April.
