Texas senate, rep. candidates debate in Sherman

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- With just less than two months to go before the primary elections, candidates for state senate and state representative shared their views on the issues and took questions from voters.

With just less than two months to go before the primary elections, candidates for state senate and state representative shared their views on the issues and took questions from voters.

Border security, education reform, and Christian values all took center stage in the debate hosted by the Grayson County Republican Women.

Five candidates took part in the forum at Grayson Hall. Sen. Craig Estes, his challenger state representative Pat Fallon were there, as well as the candidates for State Representative District 62 Brent Lawson, Kevin Couch, and Reggie Smith.
